LOLER examination

What is a LOLER examination?

A LOLER examination is the legal requirement for a thorough examination of climbing and rigging equipment.

The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) states that this has to be carried out by a qualified examiner to make sure that all equipment is  safe to use.

How often do I need my equipment examined?

Your equipment must undergo a LOLER examination in these intervals;

Climbing Equipment (PPE) – 6 Months

Rigging Equipment – 12 Months

Bowline comes to you!
